Every spring, I take note of my first negroni of the season — it’s a cocktail I generally reserve for warmer months. This year it was at The John Dory, an oyster bar in the Ace Hotel in New York.

  1. Haven’t had my second Negroni yet, but it’ll be probably be at home: I have a barrel-aged Negroni that’s been aging further in a bottle. So that’s six weeks in oak and over a year in a bottle. It’s incredibly good.

    My fingers are itching to grab a bottle of Campari and get going. It is always warm where I live so I have no excuse!
